Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Larry the Bot (“Larry”, “we”, “us”) is a Discord bot and related web services operated at getlarry.io. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who operates Larry
Larry is provided by the operator of getlarry.io. The admin panel is available at admin.getlarry.io.
Information we collect
When you use Larry, we may process:
- Discord account information — user ID, username, avatar, and guild membership when you invite the bot, use slash commands, or sign in to the admin panel via Discord OAuth.
- Guild configuration — server settings you configure through Discord commands or the admin panel (channels, roles, language, post settings, and similar options).
- Clash of Clans data — player and clan tags, display names, and related game statistics retrieved from the official Clash of Clans API when you link accounts or publish posts.
- Post and schedule history — records of clan and player posts, cooldown state, and optional scheduled post configuration for your server.
- Technical logs — limited operational logs (for example errors and request metadata) without storing message content from your Discord channels.
We do not read or store the general contents of your Discord messages except what you explicitly submit through Larry’s commands or forms.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Provide and operate Larry’s features (linking, posts, role sync, scheduling, and admin tools).
- Authenticate administrators and enforce guild access controls.
- Maintain service reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
- Improve the service based on aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
Larry relies on:
- Discord — bot platform, OAuth, and API (Discord Privacy Policy).
- Google Firebase / Firestore — secure cloud storage for configuration and service data (Google Privacy Policy).
- Supercell / Clash of Clans API — game data for linked accounts (Supercell Privacy Policy).
Each provider processes data under its own terms. We only share what is necessary to operate the service.
Analytics
The marketing site may use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics tool — to understand aggregate page visits. Plausible does not use cross-site tracking cookies and does not collect personal data for advertising profiles. Admin and bot surfaces are not covered by this marketing-site analytics unless separately disclosed.
Data retention
We retain guild configuration and linked-player data while Larry remains in your server and as needed to provide the service. When the bot is removed from a guild, associated guild data is deleted as part of our teardown process. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for troubleshooting and security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Server administrators can manage much of their guild’s data through the admin panel or by removing the bot. For other requests, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Larry after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
